Pressure Relief Damper

Introduction:

Pressure relief damper are used in marine and offshore applications to prevent backflow through ventilation ductwork. The pressure relief damper do not require an actuator or motor. The dampers can be installed horizontally or vertically in rectangular or circular ducts.

When the pressure in the air duct is lower than the adjusted opening pressure, the damper is closed. The cracking pressure can be easily set by adjusting the weight of each damper/installation.
