FRP navigation light beacon is fixed visual navigational aid which is usually set at the island, cape, port, breakwater etc.. It is made of high quality composite materials.

Features of FRP Navigation Light Beacon

1. The pile body is made of composite materials including polyester glass fiber reinforced plastic, steel, having the features of light weight, reliable structure, high strength.

2. The pile body is cylindrical and conical shaped, having small wind resistance. The bottom is combined with the foundation, having high intensity. The assembly type structure makes it convenient for transportation and installation.

3. Ontology coloring of the beacon body material. The outer surface is gel coat resin layer, adopting the excellent weather resistanct coat and mill base, and adding high quality ultraviolet absorbent and antioxidant. The surface layer of pile body has the following features: excellent water resistance, weather resistance, corrosion resistance, seawater and atomospheric corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, resistance to strong sunlight, long time color retention, high gloss and good navigation performance.

4. There is a vertical ladder mounted in the inner side of light beacon, a power distrubution platform equipped at the beacon’s bottom. For the convenience to install power distribution equipment, a sealed anti-theft door is intalled at beacon’s bottom. On the top of beacon, there is a protective fence and lightning rod or other parts to ensure the safety of the whole light beacon.

5. All parts of the light beacon are connected by using high strength stainless steel bolts, and all the metal parts exposed outside of the beacon are made of stainless steel materials or processed by anti-corrosive treatment, which makes beacon’s service life longer.
