High Potential Magnesium Anode D Type

The high potential magnesium anode uses high quality and high purity magnesium material production, complying with the ASTM97-98 standard. The anode has excellent electrochemical performance due to the use of specific production process. In the process of cathodic protection, the anode is consumed uniformly, so its service life is longer.

During the actual use process, the actual measurement working potential is between -1.8V to 1.85V, which have more obvious protection effect of the target structure.

High potential magnesium anodes are recommended to be used for the soils with a resistivity greater than 8000¦¸.cm because it is cheaper than the high potential anode, reducing the cost and effectively preventing the protection of metal structures have been protected from hydrogen evolution reaction.
