UHMWPE Navigation Buoy
UHMWPE navigation buoy is new generation navigation aid buoy which is of low carbon, environmental protection, green, free maintenance, high impact resistance and corrosion resistance.
Ultra high molecular weight polyethylene buoy is made with more than 2 million molecular weight, which makes it can work under the environment whose temperature is under -70¡æ to 80¡æ.
Features of UHMWPE Navigation Buoy
1. High Environmental Protection
A. The buoy¡¯s color is the color of the material itself, adopting the environmental protection paint imported from Swiss. It is no pullution to the environment.
B. The tail pipe is made of UHMWPE material whose chemical stability is very high and it won¡¯t break down for serveral decades in the sea without pollution to environment.
2. Maintenance Free
A. Do not need to paint in 10 years;
B. The floating body and tail pipe is self-lubricated, so none of the aquatic organisms will stick to them, saving much human and material resources to eradicate aquatic organisms.
C. The balance iron is treated anti-corrosion and put in the tail pipe to avoid being rust.
3. Impact Resistance
A. The floating body has a very high elasticity and hardness. After being hit by an external force, it can absorp rapidly the impact energy and then restore to the original.
B. The buoy is of light weight and small inertia; it can be quickly shifted after the impact to resolve the impact force, to avoid damage;
C. The floatingbody is flexible, anti-tension. It is extremely difficult to be tore and can farthest secure the safety of floating body.
D. The floating body is produced of special structure and filled the density ¡Ý36kg/m³poluerathane foam, which provides strong support to the buoy body and avoids the leakage.
E. The buoy body is made of composite materials which improves the safety, impact resistance and service life.
F. All the connecting parts of the buoy are connected with the 316L stainless steel bolts specially used for sea water.
G. The latern retainer has strong capacity of impact deformation resistance, strengthening the protection to the lamp and solar panels.
4. Long Service Life
A. UHMWPE buoy has strong anti-corrosion performance and UV irradiation resistance and high chemical stability, not aging for decades;
B. The lamp holder faces the special anti-rust treatment, with over 20 years service life.
C. Due to special structure of cable lug, each lug has the limit load up to 60 tons.
